New Theory On AIDS Origin 

Explains Chimpanzee Connection

London: A new twist on the theory that vaccines may have triggered the AIDS pandemic is advanced in the May 2001 issue of the scientific journal of Medical Hypotheses by an independent investigator and author of a bestselling book on the subject, Dr. Leonard Horowitz. The report explains for the first time the link between the human AIDS virus, HIV, and the chimpanzee immunodeficiency virus. Scientists who previously advanced the possibility that polio vaccines may have contributed to the initial African outbreak must take heed. This new theory proposes that HIV/AIDS was triggered by hepatitis B (HB) vaccines, partly developed in chimpanzees, given to gay men in New York City and Blacks in central Africa during the mid-1970s among persons who received suspected polio vaccines a decade earlier.

Dr. Horowitz, who holds a post-doctoral degree in public health from Harvard, presented his preliminary findings at the XI International Conference on AIDS in Vancouver in 1996. Last November, his controversial thesis attracted a standing room only audience in Boston at the annual American Public Health Association conference. The subject of a forthcoming BBC documentary, his publication in Medical Hypotheses underlies widespread suspicions, especially among minority populations, that HIV/AIDS was vaccine induced.

Based on a three year study of the pandemic’s origin, Dr. Horowitz determined that risky pilot HB vaccine trials involved growing hepatitis viruses in chimpanzees commonly known to be contaminated with retroviruses related to HIV. These findings scientifically explain for the first time how the chimpanzee AIDS virus (SIVcpz), closely related to HIV's gene sequence, suddenly jumped species to humans simultaneously on two far removed continents. Four lots of HB vaccine containing 200,000 human doses, believed to be contaminated with gene sequences common to HIV/SIVcpz, were prepared by passing live HB viruses, grown in chimpanzees, to polio vaccine recipients previously exposed to monkey cancer viruses already suspected of playing a role in initiating AIDS. The final preparations were injected into gay men in New York City and Blacks in Central Africa between 1974 and 1975. According to several investigators, this may best explain how and why there was a sudden simultaneous outbreak of at least four major HIV strains, on two far removed continents, in two demographically distinct populations, in the late 1970s, corresponding to the only complete virus discoveries.

These disclosures come at a time of heightened concern regarding the risks posed by HIV/AIDS to minority groups and U.S. national security. In recent months, the leader of the African National Congress, South African President Thabo Mbeki, and Kenya's Minister of State, Major Madoka, reported to the press that AIDS "did not originate in Africa."

"HIV certainly has links to sub-human African primates," Dr. Horowitz explained. "What was done to these monkeys and chimpanzees during viral vaccine experiments should come under closer scientific scrutiny." The doctor's documentation strongly supports the iatrogenic theory of AIDS versus the commonly accepted belief that the virus evolved naturally.

Dr. Horowitz's full thesis, published in Emerging Viruses: AIDS & Ebola—Nature, Accident or Intentional? (Tetrahedron Press, 1998; 1-888-508-4787), gained him the 1999 "Author of the Year Award" from the World Natural Health Organization. His work has gained increasing respect from members in Congress and the medical scientific communities, some of whom are calling for a reevaluation of AIDS's origin with respect to vaccines.

Though I have not yet read the Science and Nature articles regarding the "new findings" allegedly exonerating the polio vaccines from culpability for the AIDS pandemic, I read Elizabeth Neus's Gannett News Service review article on these "scientific" papers. I will get the papers themselves and expand on this reply later. Meanwhile, there are at least three major points of contention raised by these papers and my my latest scientific article: 

1) The early polio vaccine, as I have long held since the publication of "Emerging Viruses: AIDS & Ebola--Nature, Accident or Intentional?" (Tetrahedron, 1996), is not the primary suspect, the hepatitis B vaccine IS due to the emergence of HIV/AIDS in the mid to late 1970s. As explained in my Medical Hypotheses article, and in the book, given the 7 to 10 year incubation period of HIV/AIDS, a polio vaccine induced pandemic would likely have been observed a decade earlier (mid to late 1960s), in far more than gay and Black populations in New York City and Central Africa. 

The question asked by these investigators, however, remains. They asked whether or not some fragments of HIV were derived from polio vaccines during this early possible transmission period. 

2) Elizabeth Neus wrote for Gannet News, "it is possible that HIV, SIV, or chimp DNA could have been present in stocks of the vaccine that no longer exist, the scientists all admit. But they say that in what was preserved and given to them for testing, they found nothing incriminating." 

This point is very important because there are social, economic, and political incentives for such missing data. Can you imagine the ramification to, for instance, the Merck pharmaceutical company, and public confidence in vaccinations in general, if it was determined that their early polio vaccines contained fragments of HIV? 

So if Merck or Lederle officials were going to send samples of "remaining stock" to be tested, given corporate management and vaccine industry interests, what would you expect might happen? Samples would likely be sent showing nothing, which is what is being reported. 

3) Finally, if the polio vaccines had been free of HIV fragments or precursors, as these articles advance, that would simply refocus attention where it belongs, solely on the hepatitis B vaccine, and my forthcoming Medical Hypothesis report.

Natural Remedies for Hay Fever and Allergies 

            Spring has finally sprung in New Jersey, the Garden State. And although many enjoy viewing the flowering of the buds on the trees, still others dread this time of year because pollen counts are at their highest and many suffer from red watery eyes, runny noses, sneezing, and all-around miserable symptoms of hay fever and allergies.  Below please find some natural remedies, which may help your conditions. Most of the products can be found at your local health food store.

Hay Fever

             The medical term for hay fever is allergic rhinitis. The condition affects the mucous membranes of the nasal sinuses, the eyes and the air passages. Contact with or breathing in pollen, grass, trees, ragweed, dust, mold, feathers and animal dander are often the cause. Symptoms include itchy, watery eyes, a nose which runs with clear, watery discharge, sneezing and nervous irritability.

Homeopathic Drops

 I have found a line of homeopathic drops made by bioAllers very effective in relieving hay fever symptoms. One must first identify the primary allergen, which causes most of the symptoms. One can pick from the following line of individual products:

·        Pollen/Hay Fever

·        Grass/Pollen

·         Mold, Yeast, Dust

·        Animal Dander, Dairy Products, Grains

Please note that if the specific allergen is not known, that two of the above products may be combined for example Pollen/Hay fever with Grass/Pollen. If it is general nonspecific allergy, the bioAllers product called simple Allergy Relief can be taken. The drops are best absorbed when drops are taken under the tongue. The dosages are as directed on the label.

Another general hay fever product which I find valuable is Hayfever Aid Ô by Boericke and Tafel.

For children suffering from allergies, a product called Children’s Allergy Relief by Natrabio is great. A half teaspoon under the tongue is the general dosage, and again follow the directions on the label. Also, the homeopathic pellets Allium Cepa 30cc by Hylands are useful to relieve symptoms of itchy eyes and a runny nose with clear discharge. 2-3 of the small, candy-like pellets are easy to get children to take 2-3 times per day until symptoms disappear.

Herbal Remedies

           The herb, Stinging Nettles, or simply Nettles by Natures Way is effective in alleviating stuffy noses, watery eyes, and other symptoms of allergies. Take as directed on the label 2 capsules, 3 times per day. If non-specific sinus problems persist or you suspect a sinus infection, try Olive Leaf Extract by Nature’s Way, 2-3 capsules per day.

Recommendations

           If you or yours suffer from allergies, please stay indoors with the windows and doors closed during high pollen days. Running the air conditioning will help, as it helps to keep the pollen from entering the indoor air.

Ramblings....  by ~LightFeather~ Thanks, once again... for being with us on this earthly journey, in whatever manner we may traverse it. Enriching my life, all the more with your presence. Widening our circle is always a good thing! I have found my self to be in the midst of many souls who are experiencing upheavals in their lives, transitions.   They are all calling upon me to come to their assistance in ways of food, clothing, shelter, worldly possessions, not-so-worldly possessions and everything inbetween!!  ...and here I was, actually pondering the *why* of my lack of energy! I had to stop and take a good look outside! Yes, it is that time again, Full moon fever. And most are feeling the effects and react in their own way.  Full moon, full force exerting its energy upon ALL! Saying 'no' to others is not because of greed, ego or anything of that nature, but due to the giving of energy and the exchange simply draining me, thus, I explain.  I have offered to them love, unconditional, yet they seem to have other agenda of what I'm all about, thinking I have ulterior motives, reacting as though I am taking 'from' them. I think they have not had this offer made to them or have been 'burned' in some way by others who may have offered the same, yet 'taken even more'...  Still, all in all, I had hoped they would recognize me by sight, name, or frequency and know that I am not here to harm them but to help them heal. And they keep questioning my motives. Earth Mother has motives/reasons by being just that, a mother trying to attend to them, by trying to be there for them and trying to keep them in good health of body, mind and Spirit.  Letting them see that there is truly unconditional love on this planet and throughout the Universe. ...and their questions come pouring in as the rain during a monsoon season!!  I try to impress upon them how important they are to me, how wonderful and unique they are in their own way...still, the questions come!  Have they been burned too much to trust ever again?  Is their pain so profound that they cannot see beyond that to the part of where they come into our lives and play such an important part of the whole picture??  My God! Our God! May their eyes be opened, may the truer awakening be there, somewhere in their ::Light::or::dark::,  What a sadness it brings to my heart to see the turmoil all about me here, there, and all around. Going through the motions, not truly feeling, they fidget their way through life, never honestly knowing how wonderfully perfect they are!! There is no wrong! Just Unconditional love and acceptance.  Simple,...   ...or so we thought...   ...we will go back... ::ponder:: this once again, attempting to reach them in whatever manner we must to gain their trust and respect. It will be! WE know this, now...how to let the human factor know as well! Just thanks to all of you for being here, in all ways. Trusting ... loving ... and supporting ways. Positively influencing and directing the vibrations in a way they will understand.  May we all unite and know the powers we each possess and how beautiful it is to gather all together, and feel the greatness of this energy.    As One.  Oh, we will hush now...  Much to go and do...  Show them how to...  Love and let go, if and when needed,  Knowing it will be returned to them!
