An Inspirational
Speaker, Spiritual Director, Meditation Coach, and Spiritual Teacher,
Reverend Rebecca is the
founder of New Directions, a nondenominational, interfaith community
church "without walls".
New Directions, located in
Charlotte, NC, is
committed to developing programs which focus on bringing spiritual
principles and ethics into the global marketplace, religion, education
and politics.
Rebecca spent the first
25 years of her career in the fashion industry, where she was a
Fashion Director, Merchandiser, Designer and Divisional Private Brands
Manager for Divisions of Federated and May Co. Department Stores,
Kmart International, and Belk Stores Services.
It was her
position as the National Training Director for the Singles Division of
Jerrell Inc. that led to her interest in the training of spiritually
based leaders for the 21st century.
As a result, Rebecca left
her 25-year fashion career in 1998 to pursue her ever-growing
inspirational speaking and teaching career. That decision was based
on her first-hand experience in the global marketplace, where she saw
the need to combine her spiritual training with her experience in
corporate America. Her goal is to use that integration to help shift
the old paradigms of power and control to the emerging paradigms of
ethics and spiritual principles in all aspects of our lives, not just
in our churches, synagogues and temples.

the world today cannot be solved by the
same
level of thinking that created them,
as her guiding
principle, Rebecca emphasizes the need
to change
our perspectives on how we earn our
living,
educate our children, and renew our religious institutions. She
believes that …

to think in new directions, to come up with new concepts of doing
business, leading our country, and educating our children. Our
religious institutions need to be revitalized, with judgment,
divisiveness and discrimination eradicated once and for all. Our
intentions need to be more broad-based, not about money and power, but
about treating the environment and people with dignity and respect.
We need to look with an eye to the future, not just the immediate
bottom line. If we use these as our guiding principles in the 21st
Century, profit becomes a by-product of a new paradigm of wealth!”
Rebecca is a graduate
of The University of North Carolina-Greensboro and Sancta Sophia
Seminary. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of Light of Christ
Community Church, Spiritual Directors International, and The Monroe
Institute of Applied Sciences.

weeklong workshop.
Meditation is the Doorway
Meditation is the key to all inner work. We have a doorway into another
part of ourselves that is opened through the proper training of our mind
and our brain, which will aid us in the transformation of ourselves into
more than we are today.
From ancient times to the present, people who have changed the way we
look at life have accessed and harnessed the power of dimensions beyond
the physical senses through various mediation techniques. You will
learn how to train parts of your brain to access and use non-sensory
sources of information and insights. The positive results of such study
have proven to be: stress management, accelerated learning, and
heightened creativity.
Study includes a variety of approaches with emphasis upon establishment
of inner communication skills. The goal is to understand and experience
passive and active meditation, as well as universal spiritual
principles. We will also explore journaling, visualization and positive
affirmation as tools of change and transformation.
Dream
State University
Each
night when you go to sleep, you have the opportunity to attend classes
of "Higher" learning at Dream State University. These nighttime classes
can help you learn who you are, why you are here and in which direction
you need to go, in order to accomplish your goals. The challenge is to
learn the language these classes are given in, which is a Soul-based
alphabet called symbology. In this class, you will learn how to
program and incubate your dreams for specific solutions to life
questions, and how to interpret the responses and symbols.
Tapping
the Power of Your Intuition
This introductory class will explore proven tools from both
Spiritual Practices and the latest in brain/mind research. We will
learn how to tap into our inner knower, the part of you that has all
your answers, all your dreams, the purpose for which you are on this
earth - and the directions you have within you to fulfill them. The goal
is to become a Knower, a wise one who is able to tap into Higher Mind
and your personal symbology as keys to unlocking that which you have in
your Higher Consciousness.
From
Resolution to Reality - Developing Your Personal Mission Statement
What do you want the rest of your life to be? Learn to tap into the
power of creative forces within you that lead to manifestation on the
earth plan, in alignment with your Soul’s purpose. Start the next step
on your path planting the seeds of positive growth, which you will be
able to reap for years to come. We will create a life’s mission
statement, and visualize a future that is in accordance with the path of
evolution, both individual and planetary. Based on the books The
Isaiah Effect by Gregg Braden, and Conscious Evolution by
Barbara Marx Hubbard.
Breathing
Through The Pain - How We Birth Our Spiritual Selves
This workshop explores how we come in contact with our soul’s
purpose when we are confronted with a major “change point” in our lives,
and the correlation of the steps in the birthing process to that of
“birthing” our soul. We will establish the foundation of what you can
do when you reach that point in the life when you begin to ask, “Why me
God?” and gives practical processes of eliciting self-empowerment, so
that you can move ahead into an unlimited future! We will experience
various experiential exercises in Forgiveness and dissipating Fear as
roadblocks to birthing our Soul.
Future
Journaling - Creating the Life You Really Want!
Learn how you can change your life and program your future through the
powerful tool of journaling. We all know that thoughts are things, and
in this workshop we will explore and experience how the process of
visualization, meditation, dreams and journaling can be used to create a
future of hope, beauty and abundance not only for yourself, but also
quite possibly for the world. Based on a series of workshops given at
Borders Books, by Rev. Nagy, these classes will help facilitate your
Muse coming forth in building your future reality.

Creating Abundance ~ Manifest Your Destiny
Learn the universal laws of manifestation and
the spiritual principles for getting everything you want.
This workshop is based on years of working with people from all walks of
like on abundance "issues" and how to identify and then release the

The nature and meaning of work and business are undergoing a
profound evolution. Two forces are helping to catalyze the momentum of
this evolution - fear as a motivator and the emergence of both a more
personal and widespread spirituality.
The fear is of losing our jobs and having to do more with less. The
emergence of spirituality points to the desire that there be more to

the need for dramatic shifts in the way we think than today! There is a
set of universal laws that, in ancient times, were only accessible to
the highest of initiates in what have been called "Mystery Schools." It
is time for these truths - Ancient and Ageless Wisdom - to be known and
used to facilitate in knowing your Soul Purpose. We will explore the
Ancient Wisdom teachings and progressive revelation, and how they may be
applied to daily life as we are speeding towards the greatest spiritual
shift of all time. This workshop is highly experiential, including many
meditation and journaling exercises for connecting with The Masters,
your part in The Plan, and dissipating Glamours.
Self
Esteem: Rediscovering Your Authenticity
Based on weekly meetings facilitated by Rev. Nagy at the Shelter
for Battered Women of Mecklenburg County, this workshop allows you to
reach deep inside of yourself to discover your real power - the power of
your Soul. We have become used to finding our self-worth through what
our families & friends, our jobs, our religions, or society has told
us. This workshop will allow you to tap your inner source of power,
allowing you to stand tall in the midst of everyday challenges - and
change your life in ways you’ve never dreamed! Highly experiential, we
will explore identifying and releasing fears and processes of
forgiveness. Please bring a journal.

wisdom of our minds so that we may be wise ones in taking our next steps
in human evolution. In order to have optimum access to the energies of
these crucial energy centers within us, we must first learn to keep all
of our energy centers - The Chakras - cleared and balanced. In this way
we will allow them to open in their own time, thus bringing into
alignment the energies of our Higher Consciousness with Unconditional
Love.
In this workshop, we will explore and experience different chakra-clearing
techniques, followed by tools for aligning Heart with Mind - so that we
may truly "Thinketh in the Heart". Highly experiential, please bring a

We are living in exciting times of human evolution, where the
development of our mind is producing quantum leaps in consciousness. We
