1994-present        Director of Research, Institute of Noetic Sciences.  Develop and oversee research in three principle program areas:  Emerging Worldviews, Inner Mechanisms of the Healing Response, and Extended Human Abilities. Responsibilities include research, management, administration, public speaking, and fundraising.

1993-1994             Research Associate, Cognitive Sciences Laboratory, Science Applications International Corporation.  Project Director for study of direct intentionality on human physiology.

1992-1993             Research Associate, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Trinity University. Conducted research involving discourse analyses of debates over water management in south Texas.

1992                      Assistant Research Scientist, Agricultural Research Station and Department of Rural Sociology, Texas A&M University. Participation in multidisciplinary program to develop effective mediation strategies for water management in south Texas.

The research spanned a period of ten years and included three major programs of study: (a) Studies of anomalous cognition, including experimental work utilizing Ganzfeld, remote viewing, and remote mental influence paradigms; (b) An investigation of creativity and cognitive abilities among students at The Juilliard School, a conservatory for the performing arts; (c) A field-based medical anthropology study of folk healing practices in St. Lucia, West Indies and St. John, United States Virgin Islands.

1989                      Visiting Scientist, Psychophysical Research Laboratories.  Designed and conducted an experimental study of anomalous cognition and creativity with students from The Juilliard School.
