WASHINGTON, DC, July 11, 2000 (ENS) - For the first time, humans have
been able to develop immunity to a virus just by eating a potato. This
latest demonstration of edible vaccines has proponents cheering the
potential for inexpensive protection of the world's poorest
populations.
