Dear Defenders of the Faithful -
Please take
time to call or E-mail your congressmen and your senators and ask them read the
White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy report,
support its recommendations - especially where it will improve veterans health
care - and that they
demand the implementation of the recommendations received as a result of
Executive Order 13147. When we look at the health care of ourselves, our
friends, and our families, incorporating conventional and complementary
perspectives will improve the quality and effectiveness of both.
I do strongly believe that of all the government regulations, commissions, etc.,
etc., etc., this Commission's report provides and opportunity for us to truly
take control of our health and change the way health care is administered,
mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Presidential Executive Order 13147, White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy: Section I establishes a commission to study Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy: Section II: Functions. The Commission shall provide a report, through the Secretary [HHS], to the President, on legislative and administrative recommendations for assuring that public policy maximizes the benefits to Americans of complementary and alternative medicine.
